The City of North Miami Beach Water Department is seeking to utilize the services of R & M Service Solutions, LLC under the Town of Longboat Key’s contract FB 24-091 “Fire Hydrant Maintenance, Repair and Replacement Services”, for a two-year term effective January 6 , 2025, through January 5, 2028, with two (2) one-year renewal terms, for hydrant maintenance and repair services at an estimated cost of $175,000.

To comply with safety regulations and to ensure reliable water supply to firefighters during emergencies, the NMB Water Department will utilize the services of R & M Service Solutions, LLC to conduct hydrant repair and maintenance.

The NMB Water Department and Chief Procurement Officer recommend that the City Commission authorize the City Manager or designee to execute a Piggyback contract in an annual budgeted amount not to exceed $175,000 with R &M Service Solutions, LLC.

Requesting a Purchase Order for the allocated amount of $175,000, as approved in the adopted FY25 budget appropriation.
