| | BACKGROUND ANALYSIS:
| City of North Miami Beach is utilizing the services of Shenandoah General Construction, LLC for storm sewer and sewer main cleaning and repairs through School Board of Broward Conty piggyback contract FY20-210 for initial term of 3 years with option to renew for 2 additional one-year period. For the past years Shenandoah has been contracted to clean the Storm drains and pipes throughout the city. Since it is a permitting requirement and must be done on a yearly basis to avoid blockage which may cause flooding and other issues.
Resolution R2021-49 authorize City Manager to enter into an agreement in an amount not to exceed $225,000. At the time of contract renewal additional $200,000 required for citywide cleaning of storm drains and pipes. Contract is extended through 2025. | RECOMMENDATION:
| The City Manager and Chief Procurement Officer recommend that the City Commission approve and authorize the City Manager or designee to execute a Change Order to the previously approved contract with Shenandoah General Construction, LLC to increase the previously approved expenditure by $200,000.00 for a total expenditure of $425,000.00. | FISCAL/ BUDGETARY IMPACT:
