City of North Miami Beach PD requires the purchase of Two (2) Rangers Crew Utility Task Vehicles (UTV). This purchase aligns with the City of North Miami Beach Strategic Plan by ensuring that the City's Police Department has the necessary resources available to them to perform their jobs effectively and safely.
The Ranger Crew UTV XP 1000 Deluxe Patrol Package will allow the North Miami Beach Police Department Officers to expand their range of response on and off road. This special utility vehicle is ideal for security and patrol in the community, trails and parks where a full size vehicle travel. This vehicle is also ideal for crowd control, supporting the safety and security of large events. The Ranger Crew XP 1000 will also better assist police officers in search and rescue efforts in emergency response to disaster events.
The City is using piggyback contract through Sourcewell and Polaries Sales Inc, to purchase Rangers Crew XP 1000 Deluxe Patrol Package.
Request to ratify the purchase, as the order for two UTV’s was placed just prior to the end of FY 2023 to ensure availability, lower pricing and lead times to expedite the City’s order utilizing approved fiscal year 2023 funding.
