| | BACKGROUND ANALYSIS:
| The "Property" comprises two parcels situated at 1800 NE 168th Street and 1875 NE 167th Street. The Miami Avenue roadway, which previously divided the property, was vacated as per Resolution No. R 2015-11. To consolidate the parcels, the applicant is currently processing a tentative plat with the intention of merging these properties. The request for this merger is currently under review for final plat approval.
Within the developed parcel (folio ending in -2920), there exists a 4-story building and a 1-story building. These structures collectively serve as an assisted living facility and accommodate a total of 86 beds. The applicant's proposal involves the development of the vacant parcel and portions of the developed parcel, while retaining the existing buildings. Following completion, the new facility will absorb the 86 existing beds, increasing the total bed count to 147. | RECOMMENDATION:
