| | BACKGROUND ANALYSIS:
| The City issued RFP-22-059 MC for the Oleta River Crossing Water Main Replacement Project (“Project”), on April 18, 2023, the City Commission accepted the recommendation of City staff and authorized the City Manager or designee to negotiate a design build agreement with the top ranked, most qualified firm, David Mancini & Sons, Inc (“David Mancini”) for the construction of the Project.
City staff conducted negotiations with David Mancini resulting in the Design-Build Agreement attached as Exhibit “A” in an estimated budgeted amount of $1,500,000.00 for the Project (“Agreement”).
| RECOMMENDATION:
| Staff recommends that the City Commission approve the Agreement in an estimated budgeted amount of $1,500,000.00. | FISCAL/ BUDGETARY IMPACT:
| As approved in the adopted FY23 budget appropriation. |
