The Florida Local Government Cybersecurity Grant is a competitive grant program to provide funding for cybersecurity technical assistance to local Florida governments to enhance their cybersecurity capabilities.

The City of North Miami Beach submitted a grant application to the State on March 30th, 2023. The Florida Digital Service received over 346 grant applications across 66 of the 67 counties in Florida.

Funds awarded for cybersecurity technical assistance purposes. NMB is receiving assistance in the form of services, licenses, or commodities to enhance the cybersecurity framework, to identify and mitigate risks, and to protect infrastructure from threats through Florida’s Local Government Cybersecurity Grant Program.

In addition to software capabilities, the Florida Digital Service will provide incident response assistance when requested as well as training, technical assistance and support for the capabilities granted under the Grant.
