In keeping with the City of North Miami Beach’s (“City”) Strategic Plan of providing excellent municipal services and being a beautiful, safe and livable community in South Florida, the City is seeking growth opportunities through annexation of neighboring communities; and

The annexation will expand our City by bringing adjacent unincorporated areas into City boundaries. This growth potential is beneficial as we meet the needs of our residents and visitors by providing beneficial services, programming, facility use, events and much more; and

Pantin Gov, LLC will assist in the City’s annexation efforts. The firm specializes in assisting other municipalities navigate the government annexation process in Miami-Dade County through extensive research and strategic negotiations; and

In February 2022 under the City Manager’s authority, $49,000 was allocated to Pantin Gov, LLC for annexation consulting services; and

The City has requested an increase in expenditure of $21,000 for an additional six (6) month term of annexation consulting services. 

Section 3-3.14 of the City Code provides that contracts in excess of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00) shall be awarded by the City Commission
