This presentation represents the unaudited results of operations as compared to the second quarter expected budget results of operations through March 31, 2023 for all annually budgeted funds. This document has been prepared using the cash basis of accounting for the most part, utilizing information that was available at the time of this report. The analysis excludes encumbrances (commitments to make future purchases) and carried forward from prior years included. The City had an overall favorable variance of approximately $24.5 million as compared to the expected budget results of operations for the six months ending March 31, 2023.  It is important to note that the use of a portion of this amount is restricted for specific purposes.  All funds contributed to the variance.
