WHEREAS, the shortage of parking for multi-family developments in each zoning district has reached a crisis level in the City of North Miami Beach; and
WHEREAS, residents and guests are using the public right-of-way for additional parking due to the lack of available parking in multi-family developments; and
WHEREAS, the City of North Miami Beach (City) is actively engaged in the process of undertaking a review and update of the current Zoning and Land Development Code with respect to increasing the minimum number of required parking spaces for multi-family developments; and
