The City of Aventura, Florida issued RFP No. 20-07-23-3 for On-Demand Transportation Services and awarded the RFP to FREEBEE to provide transportation services in its city via Resolution No. 2021-10. On February 8, 2022, the City of North Miami Beach adopted Resolution No. R2022-22 authorizing the City Manager or his designee to negotiate and execute an agreement with FREEBEE for provisions of on-demand free transportation services for the residents and visitors of the City of North Miami Beach, based on similar terms and conditions in the City of Aventura’s agreement. The City of Aventura, by mutual agreement, agreed to enter into a second amendment to the agreement with Freebee to order two additional vehicles, commencing on January 1, 2023, through December 31, 2025, unless earlier terminated, and may renew for two (2) additional one (1) year periods on the same terms upon written notice to FREEBEE. The City of North Miami Beach desires to extend this Agreement through October 7, 2023, with the CONTRACTOR, as specified herein, in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Agreement; and provide services tailored to the CITY as delineated in the Scope of Services attached hereto as Exhibit “A”.
