The City of North Miami Beach (“City”) issued Request for Qualification No. 19-099-DR (“RFQ”) for NMB Water Capital Improvement Program Management Support.  

Pursuant to Resolution No. R2020-41, an agreement with Black & Veatch was approved in an amount not to exceed $1,395,259.00. Subsequently, the City’s Commission approved Work Orders No. 2 and 3 for $4,318,689.66 (R2020-117) and for $4,693,552.72 (R2022-91) respectively.  

The Public Works Department has identified a need for Staff Augmentation and Project Management Support Services to carryout pending projects throughout the City to ensure safety and compliance with County and State entities in an amount not to exceed $524,617.00.  

The Public Works Department has requested an increase in purchase authorization.

The City Manager, Public Works Director and Chief Procurement Officer recommend that the City Commission approve and authorize the City Manager or designee to expend an additional $524,617.00 for the purchase of Staff Augmentation and Project Management Support Services.
