| | BACKGROUND ANALYSIS:
| In line with the City's Strategic Plan's mission of being a resilient and sustainable community in South Florida, the City’s Community Development Department applied and was approved for the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (“FDEP”) Vulnerability Assessment Grant to determine the areas in the City most vulnerable to flooding and forming a plan to adapt the cityscape to combat this issue. | RECOMMENDATION:
| Authorize the City Manager or designee to accept the matching grant in the amount of $50,000 from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection | FISCAL/ BUDGETARY IMPACT:
