| | BACKGROUND ANALYSIS:
| In line with the City's Strategic Plan of aiming for a beautiful and livable community, the Community Development Department applied for a street tree management grant with the aim of improving the urban forest canopy. This can have a myriad of benefits such as increasing property values, lowering energy costs, and improving the mental health of residents. | RECOMMENDATION:
| Authorize the City Manager or Designee to accept the matching grant award in the amount of $30,000 from the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. | FISCAL/ BUDGETARY IMPACT:
