In keeping with the City of North Miami Beach’s (“City”) Strategic Plan of providing excellent municipal services and being a beautiful, safe and livable community in South Florida, the Parks and Recreation Department facilitates the annual holiday lighting and decor display at City facilities and throughout the City and the holiday lighting and decor display is aesthetically pleasing, providing enjoyment for residents and visitors throughout the City.

The City has solicited the assistance of Christmas Designers for the purchase of holiday lighting and décor at City facilities and throughout the City, and the Town of Davie issued and awarded Request for Proposal No. JA-20-87 “Holiday Lighting Services to Christmas Designers for a two-year term with two additional one year options to renew, effective September 2, 2020.

Section 3-4.3 of the City Code allows for the use of other governmental entities’ contracts upon a determination that the supplies, materials, equipment or contractual services needed by the City were purchased using solicitation procedures which are substantially equivalent to the City’s Purchasing Guidelines.
