| | BACKGROUND ANALYSIS:
| The item before the Mayor and City Commission requests a conditional use approval to operate a medical office at 17200 NE 19th Avenue within the RO (Residential Office) zoning district. Records indicate that the location had been used as an medical office in the past (legally non-conforming) without prior conditional use approval. Since previous medical use ceased operations for over 180 days, any new proposed medical use would require a conditional use approval to be legally conforming with the code.
The applicant is proposing no exterior or major interior alterations.
