| | BACKGROUND ANALYSIS:
| The City of North Miami Beach (“City”) and American Water Chemicals, Inc. entered into an agreement for the purchase and delivery of AWE A-102 Plus Antiscalent in an estimated annual budgeted amount of $98,000.00 subject to approved budget appropriation (“Agreement”) and approved by Resolution No. 2020-110 and NMB Water Department has requested additional chemical purchase allocation for the purchase and delivery of AWE A-102 Plus Antiscalent.
Change Order increases the amount to purchase chemicals to $155,000 through fiscal year 2023 based on the piggyback contract via the City of Clearwater Invitation to Bid No. #38-20 | RECOMMENDATION:
| The City Manager conducted his own due diligence and concurs with the recommendation of the Water Department Director and the Chief Procurement Office to approve a change order to continue the purchase and delivery of AWE A-102 Plus Antiscalent under the Agreement to increase the Agreement amount by $57,000.00 through the end of fiscal year 2023 | FISCAL/ BUDGETARY IMPACT:
