| | BACKGROUND ANALYSIS:
| City of North Miami Beach (“City”) and Airgas USA, LLC. entered into an agreement for the purchase and delivery of carbon dioxide in an estimated annual budgeted amount of $32,000.00 and approved under the City Manager’s administrative authority and NMB Water Department has requested additional chemical purchase allocation, for the purchase and delivery of carbon dioxide.
Change Order increases the amount to purchase of carbon dioxide to $100,000 through fiscal year 2023 based on the piggyback contract through the Southeast Florida Government Purchasing Group Cooperative via the City of Pompano Beach Contract No. T-36-19.
| RECOMMENDATION:
| The City Manager, conducted his own due diligence and concurs with the recommendation of the Water Department Director and the Chief Procurement Office to approve the Change Order to purchase and delivery of carbon dioxide to increase the Agreement amount by $68,000.00 through the end of fiscal year 2023. | FISCAL/ BUDGETARY IMPACT:
