| | BACKGROUND ANALYSIS:
| The HVAC system is essential in maintaining a suitable temperature that is required to make the office space functional and productive. Use of the Chilled Water System will reduce HVAC operational cost and allow for more efficient functioning of the power being fed to the building. Using another system like the Unitary DX Air Handler system will put an added strain on the power source to the building and the generator unit.
| RECOMMENDATION:
| The City Manager, Director of Public Works, and the Chief Procurement Officer recommend that the City Commission approve and authorize the City Manager or designee to execute a change order with BeSpoke Construction Management for the installation of the HVAC Air Handler System as a part of the HR Renovations Project, 2nd Floor, City Hall, North Miami Beach in the amount of $52,338.95 | FISCAL/ BUDGETARY IMPACT:
