On March 23, 2022, the City advertised RFQ No. 22-025-PF seeking qualification submittals from experienced and licensed contractors to create a pool of pre-qualified contractors to bid on residential rehabilitation for the City’s Housing Rehabilitation Program.  All Respondents who meet the minimum qualifications and are otherwise deemed as responsive and responsible contractors possessing the ability, willingness and integrity to perform successfully under the terms and conditions of this contract shall be considered for inclusion in the pool of pre-qualified contractors. The City may at its discretion, make additions or deletions from this list as it deems necessary depending upon the response to this RFQ.

Given the above, staff is requesting approval of this initial list of pre-qualified contractors for the City’s Residential Housing Rehabilitation Program, for an initial term of three (3) years, with two (2) additional one (1) year options to renew. 

The fiscal impact for the first year of this contract is approximately $790,000 and funds will be provided from the American Rescue Plan Act, Account # 145280, Project # 515468.  The fiscal impact for subsequent years of this contract is subject to future funding allocation by the various sources of funds.
