In keeping with the City of North Miami Beach’s (“City”) Strategic Plan’s Mission of a high performing city organization, the city entered into a maintenance agreement with FDOT for turf and landscape maintenance on June 20, 2019. The agreement is to maintain those roadside areas and medians within the corporate limits of the City ("2019 Agreement"), which was initially for a term of one year, and only permitted for two one-year renewals, the last of which expires on June 20, 2022.
Because the 2019 Agreement is set to expire and does not permit for any further renewals, the City wishes to enter into a new agreement with FDOT for the same purpose and with essentially the same terms. The Agreement with FDOT provides that FDOT shall compensate the City up to fifty-three thousand five hundred and fifty-six dollars ($53,556.00) annually for maintenance of the roadside areas and medians described in the Agreement (Exhibit "A").
The agreement will be for a term of one year with an option to renew twice.
