| | BACKGROUND ANALYSIS:
| Baffle curtains provide a hydraulic barrier to help improve the treatment performance of our 5MG water storage tank. These vertical curtains are designed to improve flow patterns, minimize short circuiting, prevent channeling, prolong contact time, improve mixing, increase retention time, among others. | RECOMMENDATION:
| It is recommended that the contract be approved for normal operations to continue at the Norwood Water Treatment Plant and remain in compliance with regulatory drinking water standards. | FISCAL/ BUDGETARY IMPACT:
