The Uleta Community Center located at 386 NE 169 Street has been experiencing water intrusion. Recently several palm trees brushing against the building that contributed to the water intrusion were removed, exposing damage to the stucco. Staff, has assessed the damage and identified the scope of work to maintain this building in a satisfactory condition. The repairs include stucco work and painting of the entire community center and pool buildings. The repairs are too extensive to be performed in-house in a timely and efficient manner.
Proposals for the repairs were developed and submitted through Garland/DBS Inc. All submissions were reviewed by City staff for consistency and transparency. Under City supervision, Garland will take responsibility for project completion and quality of work.
