| | BACKGROUND ANALYSIS:
| Public and private sector employers across the state utilize various forms of recruitment and retention strategies for securing top talent in their respective industries. One such strategy is offering a tuition reimbursement program, which supports employees looking to continue their education in order to further their career with the City of North Miami Beach.
Currently, the City’s tuition reimbursement policy only applies to full time City employees. | RECOMMENDATION:
| Approve the Resolution authorizing the City Manager to implement and amend as needed, a tuition reimbursement benefit for part-time employees meeting eligibility. | FISCAL/ BUDGETARY IMPACT:
| Will be incorporated in FY 22-23 budget. |
