| | BACKGROUND ANALYSIS:
| The purpose of this memorandum is to respectfully request that the placement of the attached appropriation request totaling in the amount of $70,000 for expenditure from the Law Enforcement Trust Fund accounts on the agenda for the City Commission meeting to be held on Tuesday, November 16, 2021. The Police Department is expected to request $60,000 from the Federal Justice Law Enforcement Trust Fund (Fund 172) and $10,000 from State Law Enforcement Trust Fund (Fund 173).
| RECOMMENDATION:
| It is respectfully requested that the funding requests be approved for the expenditures described in the attached document. | FISCAL/ BUDGETARY IMPACT:
| The request will not affect the City's General Fund, but will reduce the available balance in each corresponding Law Enforcement Trust Fund.
