In an effort to provide excellent municipal services, in a financially responsible manner, consistent with our Strategic Plan, the City of North Miami Beach issued ITB-20-053-SG "Generator Maintenance Services", with electronic notices posted on the City’s website and BidSync, with electronic notification sent to over 4,900 vendors on January 3, 2021, in accordance with Florida Statutes and the City of North Miami Beach’s City Code.
The generator maintenance service agreement will maintain generators of various sizes and capacity in compliance with state and local regulations at sites within the City of North Miami Beach to include sites managed by the NMB Water and Public Works Departments.
On January 14, 2021, the City received six (6) total bids. The six bids were opened from bidders: All Power Generators, Generator and Power Systems, 360 Energy Solutions, LJ Power Inc, KW Power and Genset Solutions Inc. Procurement Management Division conducted an administrative review of the six (6) bids and deemed the bids responsive. See attached bid tabulation.
In addition to conducting state and local due diligence and reference verification, a responsibility review meeting was held (virtually) with the lowest, responsive bidder for a more extensive responsibility assessment. The NMB Water and Public Works Departments deemed All Power Generators Corp., responsible and capable of carrying out the scope as outlined in the solicitation. Thusly, the NMB Water and Public Works Directors have concurred that All Power Generator Corp., is the lowest responsive responsible bidder.
Section 3-3.14 of the City’s Code of Ordinances provides that contracts in excess of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00) shall be awarded by the City Commission.
