| | BACKGROUND ANALYSIS:
| The City Commission has a tradition of granting Proclamations to individuals and organizations for events or causes which positively impact the community and convey an affirmative message to City residents and businesses. This Policy expands that tradition by allowing and encouraging all elected officials to participate in granting Proclamations to deserving individuals and businesses. It also encourages the public to participate by allowing residents to make a request for an award to someone deserving. | RECOMMENDATION:
