| | BACKGROUND ANALYSIS:
| In March 2020 the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act) provided supplemental funding for various sectors of the United States economy. As a result, Miami-Dade County allocated a portion of its supplemental funding to provide an amount not-to-exceed $100,000,000 to the municipalities in the County.
In order to participate in the supplemental funding, the County is requiring execution of this interlocal agreement to ensure the effective and timely dissemination of funds to municipalities and to document the municipalities authority to receive funding and intent to comply with the requirements to receive the funding. | RECOMMENDATION:
| Staff recommends execution of the Interlocal Agreement. | FISCAL/ BUDGETARY IMPACT:
| The City has submitted requests totaling $1,366,337.49 to date. |
