This budget amendment will provide funding for time-keeping software for the police department to be able to connect with the City's new payroll system and for a renewed consulting contract with the implementation specialist, Plante & Moran, PLLC. The consultant will assist with the implementation of the time-keeping software and the Energov software for the Community Development Department. The consultant will also assist with the final steps for the HR/Payroll system implementation.
The Transit Surtax Fund is requesting a transfer of funds from transportation projects into transit for the purpose of purchasing two new trolleys.
The Building Department has requested a full time Chief Electrical Inspector. The department intends to merge two part-time positions to create the full-time position. The position exists in the staffing table, so it does not require Civil Service Board approval. |
