The Retirement Plan for General Employees of the City of North Miami Beach does not currently specify how many affirmative votes are required for any acts or decisions by the Retirement Committee. The recommended ordinance amends the definition of a quorum in the Retirement Plan, to provide that a quorum requires at least three trustees, which shall include at least one employee-elected trustee, and one City-appointed trustee.  The recommended ordinance also corrects all references in the Retirement Plan to the "City Council" by amending it to "City Commission."
