Last year, the City of North Miami Beach secured a Matching Special Category Grant from the Department of State of $112,500 for the restoration and enhancement of this landmark. Located in a quaint residential setting and within blocks to vibrant and bustling commercial areas, the fountain is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places. The towering monument with four domed archways rising 14 feet in the air, was erected in 1925 and and its overhaul is long overdue and will be a welcome sight upon completion. |
