| BACKGROUND ANALYSIS: |
Our NMB Line has undergone a major upgrade since its first implementation. After a comprehensive transportation study by the Corradino Group, two additional routes were adopted and hours and days of service extended. The geographical coverage now links the northernmost areas of the city to the southernmost section as well as the easternmost areas of the city to as far west as NE 15th Avenue. The three routes connect with 13 different Miami Dade County Transit routes and some neighboring trolley systems. Ridership is projected to reach 100,000 annually and place City of NMB’s service in the top 10 among the 25 Miami Dade County municipalities offering such service. |
