CH2M Hill Engineers, Inc., has been providing on-site consulting services to NMB Water since October 2015 and fulfilling a critical need for experienced leadership of the Norwood Water Treatment Plant operations, maintenance, and laboratory functions. The City of North Miami Beach continues to be in need of these services during our pursuit of a contract operations and maintenance agreement in order to insure the proper operation and regulatory compliance for the City's critical infrastructure.

It is staff's recommendation that the City Council Authorize the City Manager or her designee(s) to enter into a contract with CH2M Hill Engineers, Inc. utilizing the North Sumter County Utility The Villages) "Agreement for Utility Operations and Maintenance" in the amount of $320,000.00. This request is in accordance with the City Code Section 3-4.3 Use of Other Government Entities' Contract.

This recommendation is aligned with the City's mission and goals to be a High Performing City Government.
