In keeping with the City’s Strategic Plan Goals of being the “Place to Live: Beautiful, Safe and Livable” and having “Revitalized Downtown and Major Corridors,” the City wishes to install a decorative mural on the western-facing wall of the FPL substation on SR826 just east of the Golden Glades Interchange. The mural will serve to beautify the structure and to welcome motorists to the City of North Miami Beach at this key entry point. FPL will allow this installation provided the City executes a Maintenance Memorandum of Understanding outlining the City’s maintenance obligations for the mural.
